It's all hands on deck as the construction of the new air force medical center at Laage airbase is on track! After a whopping 15 months of non-stop grind, we've reached a significant milestone – the topping-out ceremony at the airbase. This bad boy is set to cost around 12.4 million euros and should be completed by June next year, before being handed over a month afterward.

This two-story building will be a bustling hotspot, offering offices, treatment rooms, physiotherapy spaces, and sports facilities for flight doctors, medical assistants, and even a sports officer. The primary beneficiaries? You guessed it - the pilots!

But that's not all! This hub will also play home to personnel from the Air Accident Readiness Service, equipped with an ambulance. Our esteemed client? None other than the Federal Republic of Germany. Project management duties are in the capable hands of the State Building and Property Authority Rostock.

Did someone say Eurofighter coverage? The Tactical Air Force Wing 73 calls Laage home, making it one of four Eurofighter stomping grounds for the Air Force. The airbase also serves as a training ground for our Eurofighter aces.
