Baden-Württemberg Launches €1.5M 'Quartiersimpulse' Program for 18 Municipalities
The Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, and Integration in Baden-Württemberg has launched the 'Quartiersimpulse' program, supporting 18 municipalities and districts with a €1.5 million fund. This initiative aims to create community spaces, boost participation, and future-proof neighborhoods.
Since 2019, the 'Quartiersimpulse' program has been focusing on sustainable quarter development and combating loneliness. The current funding round, which began in 2023 and will continue until 2025, is supporting projects that cater to local needs and engage people of all ages and backgrounds with innovative formats.
The municipalities and districts benefiting from this round include Schriesheim, Riedlingen, Rhein-Neckar district, Ravensburg, Lörrach, Kornwestheim, Marbach am Neckar, Esslingen am Neckar, Bad Urach, Grenzach-Wyhlen, Herrenberg, Böblingen, Esslingen district, Ostalbkreis, Adelsheim, and Sauldorf. Each project will receive up to €85,000 for municipalities and up to €115,000 for municipal associations and districts, covering material, personnel costs, and external consulting services. The funding duration is two years.
The 'Quartiersimpulse' program, part of the 'Landesstrategy Quartier 2030 - Together. Shape.', is expected to make neighborhoods more crisis-resistant and inclusive by supporting projects that have a long-term impact. The ministry's commitment to this program reflects its dedication to fostering strong, resilient communities across Baden-Württemberg.
