Amga village, Amga ulus, is set to receive a significant boost in medical care with the construction of a new 200-visit outpatient clinic. The clinic is part of the primary healthcare modernization programme within the "Longevity and Active Aging" national project, a strategic initiative spearheaded by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The building, designed to accommodate all necessary medical facilities, is currently in its final stages of construction. The final phase is the concreting of the platform for water tanks. Internal finishing and roofing works are underway, and all windows have been installed.

The clinic, once completed, is expected to serve the district's residents, contributing to raising the level of medical care. Currently, 62 specialists are working on the site to ensure the clinic's timely completion.

Resident Anastasia Sutatova expressed her excitement about the convenience of having all medical facilities within walking distance with the new building. She noted that the current clinic's location is inconvenient for elderly residents due to the distance from the inpatient complex.

The new clinic in Amga is not the first large medical facility built in Yakutia due to the "Longevity and Active Aging" national project. Similar facilities have been constructed in Churapcha, Ytyk-Kyuel, Honuu, and Ust-Maya.

While the exact expected completion date for the new clinic in Amga is yet to be announced, it is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025. Once completed, the clinic will be furnished with all necessary medical equipment, ready to serve the community.

For detailed and up-to-date information about this project, we recommend consulting official announcements from the regional health authorities or the national project coordinators responsible for the "Longevity and Active Aging" initiative.

The new clinic, upon completion, will provide widespread health and wellness services to the residents of Amga village, addressing the prominent need for improved medical care in the district. This project is part of the "Longevity and Active Aging" national initiative, with a focus on workplace-wellness, fitness-and-exercise, and addressing the health challenges of aging.

By having the medical facilities within walking distance, as stated by resident Anastasia Sutatova, the convenience for elderly residents will be significantly improved, eliminating the difficulty in accessing healthcare services.

With the opening of this clinic, Amga village joins multiple villages like Churapcha, Ytyk-Kyuel, Honuu, and Ust-Maya, that have also benefited from the healthcare modernization program under the "Longevity and Active Aging" national project, thereby enhancing the general well-being of the communities in Yakutia.
