Competition "Best Expert in Occupational Safety" Accepts Applications at Kolym

The Magadan Region is set to host its Annual Regional Competition "Best Specialist in Occupational Safety" once again, with applications open until October 15, 2025. This competition aims to improve the level of professional knowledge, creativity, and innovation among occupational safety specialists in the region.

The competition is organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Magadan Region. There is no limit to the number of participants an organization can submit, making it an opportunity for many to showcase their skills.

The application process is straightforward: applicants must submit an application form, along with supporting documents, to the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Magadan Region by October 15, 2025. Applications can be submitted electronically. It is essential that participants have the consent of the legal entities that created them to participate in the competition.

The competition consists of two stages and two nominations: "Best Specialist in Occupational Safety in Production Organizations" and "Best Specialist in Occupational Safety in Non-Production Organizations". The first stage takes place from October 16 to 31, 2025.

The second stage, from November 1 to 30, 2025, involves practical tasks to demonstrate the application of knowledge and experience in solving tasks within the scope of an occupational safety specialist's competence. The competition criteria are used to evaluate the skills, abilities, and professional achievements of the participants.

Eligible participants must be employed in organizations and associations registered in the Russian Federation, regardless of their form of ownership or organizational and legal form. Participants must have at least one year of experience and be employed on a permanent basis. This includes occupational safety specialists, heads of occupational safety services, and other specialists whose professional activities involve planning, organizing, controlling, and improving occupational safety management.
