The much-anticipated reopening of day care facilities in Neuss, run by Caritas in Rhein-Kreis Neuss, is set for June 8, 2020, following a recommendation from the NRW Ministry of Health. This marks a significant step forward in the community's efforts to return to a sense of normalcy, providing relief for caregivers and enriching the lives of those in need of care.

Upon reopening, day guests will be required to maintain a distance of at least 1.5 meters from each other at all times. Furthermore, those who have been discharged from a hospital, rehabilitation, or preventive care facility within the past 14 days will only be allowed to visit the facility with a negative Covid-19 test result. A register will be kept to trace possible contacts.

Every morning, there will be a brief screening for staff and guests according to the guidelines of the Robert Koch Institute. The day care facilities, which were previously closed since March 18 due to measures aimed at containing the spread of the coronavirus, will now offer a safe environment for those seeking care.

In addition to the day care facilities' reopening, the free newsletter provided by Caritas in Rhein-Kreis Neuss continues to be a valuable resource for the community. Subscribing to this newsletter is free, and it is sent to subscribers' inboxes every day.

The newsletter provides in-depth information about social developments, culinary arts, art, and culture in Neuss. It serves as a source of updates about various aspects of the city, making it easier for residents to stay informed about social, cultural, and artistic developments in their community.

Subscribers can confirm their subscription by checking their inbox or spam folder. For more information about the newsletter, including the privacy policy, visit the Caritas in Rhein-Kreis Neuss website. Rest assured, the newsletter does not send spam.

On Monday, the focus will be on gradually rebuilding familiarity in the day care facilities. Instead of being alone at home, care recipients can spend their day with others, fostering a sense of community and connection. The newsletter is a way to stay informed and connected, even when physical distancing measures are in place.

In these challenging times, the reopening of the day care facilities and the continuation of the newsletter offer hope and a sense of normalcy to the residents of Neuss. By staying informed and taking the necessary precautions, we can continue to support each other and move forward together.
