Dutch company GreenGas Asset BV, operating in the hydrogen mobility sector, signs the closing for the supply of three hydrogen production plants, totaling 2.5 MW, from Erredue.
In a significant move towards sustainable energy, ErreDue has secured a €3.2 million contract with Dutch hydrogen mobility company Groengas Asset BV to supply three hydrogen production plants with a total capacity of 2.5 MW. The plants, scheduled for commissioning by March 2026, will be installed across two sites in the Netherlands: Amsterdam and Groningen.
The hydrogen production systems will include containerized units, external cooling systems, and integrated nitrogen generation solutions, designed for efficiency and ease of deployment. The plants, rated at 2 MW (two units of 1 MW and one unit of 0.5 MW), are expected to produce over 500 tonnes of hydrogen annually at 30 bar pressure, enough to support several hydrogen refueling stations aimed at heavy-duty vehicle fleets.
The partnership between ErreDue and Groengas further strengthens their commercial relationship, established in 2017. Upon completion of the project, Groengas will have a total installed capacity of 4.5 MW, aligning with ErreDue's strategic objectives and the ongoing energy transition, focusing on the use of green hydrogen.
