The city council has submitted a motion seeking clarification on the repeated withdrawal of the emergency room at Ingolstadt Hospital from the Integrated Control Centre. The motion calls for immediate action to address the issue and clarify the situation.

Dr. Anton Böhm, another SPD city councillor, expressed his concern about citizens being uncertain about local treatment in a medical emergency in Ingolstadt. He highlighted the importance of ensuring that the emergency room is always accessible and capable in a city like Ingolstadt.

The SPD faction's request for information and concrete measures is part of their ongoing efforts to address the issue of the emergency room's availability at Ingolstadt Hospital. They have also sought an overview of the number of days between January 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025, when the hospital's emergency room was unavailable.
