Angelica, Office Manager and Jack of All Trades at Gardenuity, spends her days readying the company for digital and virtual corporate workshops as well as ensuring the grow room's gardens flourish. Her responsibilities also extend to handling business inquiries and customer questions over the phone, assisting with in-person gardening gift sales, and managing the garden's watering, pruning, and light manipulation. In a sit-down interview, we were able to delve into her favorite things, wellness practices, and personal tidbits.
Before joining Gardenuity, Angelica honed her skills in various sectors, starting as a family practice and pediatric medical assistant. She later transitioned into education as a teaching assistant, and after concluding her tenure as a home educator for her children, she worked at an attorney's office. Her connection with Julie Eggers, Gardenuity's co-founder, paved the way for her journey with the company.
Gardenuity resonated with Angelica due to its emphasis on holistic health through gardening. She appreciated the fusion of physical activity, nutritious eating, and homegrown produce, ultimately finding a mission she wholeheartedly supported.

Originally from Johnson Valley, California, Angelica now calls Texas home. She studied to become a Registered Nurse and Medical Assistant at Daytona Community College. Angelica is the doting mother of a boy and girl in high school, and her family affectionately refers to her as Angie. In her free time, she enjoys cocktails like Sauvignon Blanc, appreciates wildflowers for their desert origins, and favors dishes featuring filet mignon and potatoes. Pastimes outside of gardening include bike riding, spending time with loved ones, traveling, and lounging at the beach.
