Starting from October 2025, the Center for Mental Health at the Eichstätt location will host a series of informative evenings focused on mental health. These public, free events aim to provide valuable insights into mental illnesses, treatment options, and help reduce stigma.
The series was initiated in conjunction with the opening of the day clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy at Eichstätt, operated by the Klinikum Ingolstadt since April 2025. The first event on October 1, 2025, will see Prof. Dr. Andreas Schuld, head physician at the Center for Mental Health, providing an overview of the day treatment options offered by the clinic.
On October 29, 2025, Senior Physician Dr. Matthias Habich will focus on the topic of 'Sadness, Fears, Insomnia' and explain possible mental illnesses behind these symptoms. Wednesday, November 26, 2025, will see Claudia Matterstock, a psychological psychotherapist, presenting various psychotherapy options available at the day clinic.
Each lecture takes place at the facilities of the psychiatric day clinic in Eichstätt, starting at 6:00 PM, and no registration is required. The lectures are conducted by professionals from the Center for Mental Health, including Prof. Dr. Andreas Schuld, Dr. Matthias Habich, and Claudia Matterstock.
