Flu Vaccinations to be Administered by BH Most Happy This Sunday (27th)
This Sunday, July 27th, the Belo Horizonte City Hall (PBH) will be offering flu vaccinations as part of the BH Mais Feliz program. The vaccination will be available to individuals aged 6 months and above, but only for those who have not been vaccinated against flu this year.
The vaccination program will take place from 9 am to 2 pm in the Centro-Sul, Leste, Oeste, and Venda Nova regions. Here are the specific locations for each region:
- Centro-Sul: Estacionamento do Centro de Saúde Padre Tarcísio, Rua Coronel Jorge Davis, 500, Bairro São Lucas - Leste: Praça Che Guevara, Rua Alair Pereira da Silva, 100, Bairro Taquaril - Oeste: Praça Padre José Luiz, Rua Lagoa da Prata, Bairro Salgado Filho - Venda Nova: Praça Manoel Batista Baia (intersection of Maria Luiza Lara, José Félix Martins, Pedro Rocha Possas streets), Bairro Mantiqueira
It is important to note that an identification document with photo, CPF, and vaccination card is required for the vaccination. The vaccine protects against H1N1, H3N2, and influenza B strains.
This vaccination is part of an ongoing campaign and a last opportunity this month to get the flu shot. So, if you fall into the eligible age group and haven't been vaccinated this year, don't miss out on this opportunity to protect yourself from the flu.
The vaccination program at the Centro-Sul region will not only offer flu vaccinations under the BH Mais Feliz program, but it will also provide protection against H1N1, H3N2, and influenza B strains – a crucial aspect of health-and-wellness and fitness-and-exercise as the season for these health threats approaches. This Sunday, July 27th, you can find the vaccination at Estacionamento do Centro de Saúde Padre Tarcísio, which falls under the science domain as it's their effort to improve community health.
