Krasnoyarskstat shined a light on these grim working conditions during the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The insights gathered only considered large corporations, excluding small businesses.

The sectors with the largest percentages of hazardous labor (employing 60% to nearly 73% of their staff) can be found in manufacturing industries, encompassing automotive and textile production, mineral production, and water resource management.

Moreover, uncomfortable conditions are also prevalent in organizations dealing with waste management, pollution control, and mineral extraction. Approximately half of the workforce in these companies toils under hazardous circumstances.

The most harmful factors affecting these employees revolve around loud noises, ultrasonic and infrasonic sounds, and the sheer intensity of the work routines. These factors affect around 56-59% of the workforce.

As a result, all employees under these conditions are entitled to regular medical checkups, nearly 95% receive higher wages, 61% enjoy extended vacation, and more than half receive early retirement privileges.
