Heidelberg University's 'Univitality Health Week' Focuses on Heart Health
Heidelberg University is hosting 'Univitality Health Week' from 29th September to 2nd October 2025. This event, organized by University Health Management, focuses on heart health and offers a range of activities for students and employees.
The week kicks off with an online lunchtalk on the basics of heart health, presented by a physiotherapist and medical student. Other online sessions cover topics like heart structure and function, movement as medicine, and relaxation techniques for cardiovascular health.
Physical activities are also a key part of the week. Participants can choose from Pilates, full-body workouts, rope skipping, guided walks, and beginner's running courses. Cardiovascular screening is available daily at three university locations, with appointments lasting 15 minutes each.
CPR training is offered daily from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Zeughaus Mensa in the Marstall, no registration required. More information about the event can be found on the Univital homepage.
