Heidelberg U's 'Aging - A Lifetime' Image Competition Launches
Heidelberg University's Network on Aging Research is hosting an image competition, 'Aging - A Lifetime', with support from the BrainAid Foundation. The competition seeks personal perspectives on aging and old age, with cash prizes for the top three entries.
The competition is open to anyone, with submissions accepted via email to [email protected] or by post to the University of Heidelberg. Each participant can submit one self-created image in any format, excluding AI-generated content and previously published or awarded works. The deadline for submission is September 30, 2025.
A jury of scientists will review the submissions and select images for an exhibition at the Network on Aging Research. The top three images will be awarded €500, €200, and €100 respectively. The patron of the competition is Prof. Dr. Hans-Jürgen Möller.
The 'Aging - A Lifetime' image competition offers a platform for individuals to express their thoughts and ideas about aging. With the support of the BrainAid Foundation and the Network on Aging Research, this competition encourages diverse perspectives and fosters dialogue on this universal topic.
