Mentalist from Germany prepares for a bond-esque renovation project
In a historic turn of events, Jack Nasher, a German mentalist and negotiation expert, has purchased the traditional casino in Bad Gastein, Austria. Adam Greco, an American interior designer with experience in historical objects, has been hired to lead the renovation. Greco, known for his work on The Ned, a luxury hotel in London, promises a blend of the casino's historic charm and contemporary aesthetics, creating a unique and luxurious accommodation experience.
The renovation will be done with a nod to the James Bond era, maintaining the casino's glamour and sophistication while introducing sleek, innovative architectural features and interior design. The old building, which is under monument protection, is currently being inspected in detail to remove newer paint layers and reveal the original layer.
Nasher is working closely with the Federal Monuments Authority to ensure the preservation of the casino's historical elements. Eva Hody, a conservator, has confirmed Nasher's close collaboration with the authority. However, the people of Bad Gastein are skeptical about Nasher and fear a potential financial disaster.
