AniCura Small Animal Center Lörrach Enhances Veterinary Care with Modern Facilities

The AniCura Small Animal Center Lörrach in Germany has recently invested in modern veterinary medicine, indicating advancements in their clinical infrastructure and services.

The center, which is part of AniCura - a leading European provider of high-quality veterinary care for small animals headquartered in Sweden - has expanded and modernized its practice facilities. This investment aims to provide higher quality care in diagnostics and treatment.

The new facilities at AniCura Lörrach include a dedicated dental suite equipped with two modern dental tables, dental X-ray, and a high-quality anesthesia machine with mechanical ventilation. The center also has an additional room of approximately 10 square meters created specifically for ultrasound examinations.

AniCura's mission is "Shaping the future of veterinary care, together." This commitment is reflected in the services offered at AniCura Small Animal Center Lörrach, which provides comprehensive veterinary care, including surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, gynecology, and cardiology.

The center now offers minimally invasive laparoscopic castration for dogs weighing at least 10 kilograms. This procedure, known for its advantages such as smaller incisions, reduced risk of bleeding, shorter anesthesia time, and a significantly faster recovery, is a testament to AniCura's commitment to modern and advanced veterinary practices.

In addition, precise, ultrasound-guided True Cut biopsies can now be performed in the separate ultrasound room.

Since the end of 2024, AniCura Small Animal Center Lörrach has had two French-speaking veterinarians to provide optimal care for pet owners from neighboring France. This move underscores the center's strategic location to serve pet owners from the entire region.

AniCura treats approximately 4.5 million animals annually at nearly 500 locations in 17 countries. In Germany, AniCura operates at 81 locations with nearly 3,000 employees.

AniCura's association with Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica GmbH's broader initiatives further supports the center's focus on modern veterinary medicine. These initiatives include innovative health products and services for prevention, prognosis, and treatment of animal diseases, educational events and webinars focusing on specific conditions, and programs supporting preventive care.

The head of Marketing & Corporate Affairs Germany for AniCura is named Janina Bruckmann, MBA, and can be reached at +49 160 535 51 30.

AniCura offers a wide range of veterinary services, including preventive and basic care, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and nutrition counseling. With its modern facilities and advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, AniCura Small Animal Center Lörrach is well-positioned to continue providing high-quality veterinary care to pets and their owners in the region.
