Unveiling Perceptions: Mothers in Germany Negatively Grade Life Fairness Compared to Fathers
Maternal Perception of Injustice in Germany Outweighs Paternal Perspective, According to Research - Mothers in Germany perceive life to be more unjust than fathers, according to research findings
Scrutinizing the viewpoints of both parents, a surprising study reveals that a staggering 82% of mothers perceive life in Germany as more unfair than the nearly 70% of male parents. Shockingly, 60% of mothers believe that men and women in the country are not treated equally, a sentiment shared by only 27% of fathers.
The chasm between the sexes extends further when assessing the aid provided to the poor. In contrast to 39% of fathers, a disheartening 54% of mothers express the belief that the impoverished in Germany are not well catered to.
An intriguing disparity between single parents and those in partnerships also emerges in the study. A staggering 84% of single parents view opportunities for their kids negatively, compared to just 68% of parents in relationships. Additionally, single parents are more critical of the financial security of retirees, with 90% versus 76% of parents in partnerships holding this view.
Conducted between November and December 2023, this social study surveyed families nationwide. A total of 660 children, 570 teenagers, and their respective parents participated in the online survey, including 1230 mothers and fathers.
