NBA player Jonas Valanciunas of the Nuggets adopts sleeping technology 'Pulsetto' to enhance his performance on the court.

In a significant move, NBA star Jonas Valanciunas has joined forces with health tech company Pulsetto, marking a new era in sports recovery. The partnership, officially announced on August 26, signals a growing trend in the sports industry where technology is transforming the way athletes prepare, recover, and extend their careers.

Valanciunas, a centre for the Memphis Grizzlies, has been using the Pulsetto FIT device for several months. The device, designed to manage stress and restore balance, has been instrumental in improving his sleep and overall energy. According to Valanciunas, the device helps him settle, sleep through the night, and wake up ready, making it a valuable tool for his performance on the basketball court.

Pulsetto's technology is not just benefiting Valanciunas. Other athletes working with the company include Jannik Hansen, Ronja Schütte, Carina Wenninger, and more. Recently, Domantas Sabonis of the Sacramento Kings and Matas Buzelis of the Chicago Bulls also partnered with Pulsetto.

The Pulsetto FIT device works by stimulating the vagus nerve, often referred to as the body's natural reset button. When the nervous system remains on high alert after games or travel, the body struggles to reset properly. The device addresses this issue, promoting deep rest, reducing stress, and aiding recovery between games, workouts, and long flights.

The larger trend in sports is that technology continues to play a transformative role. Recovery tools like Pulsetto are signaling that athletes are finding ways to gain an edge beyond training and nutrition. Coaches and medical staff have started treating nervous system recovery as a strategic advantage, drawing more interest from top athletes.

Pulsetto's success is evident in its recent expansion into physical retail. The company can now be found in Times Square's TM:RW flagship store, Smartech Selfridges in London, and Boots UK. Moreover, Pulsetto's monthly app usage has surpassed one million sessions, and its revenue has tripled compared to last year.

Clinical trials show significant improvements in stress and anxiety levels, as well as fewer sleep disturbances when participants use the Pulsetto FIT device consistently for just a few weeks. Povilas Sabaliauskas, Pulsetto co-founder and stress management expert, emphasizes the importance of this development, stating, "When the nervous system remains on high alert after games or travel, the body struggles to reset properly."

With Valanciunas as an ambassador, Pulsetto is poised to make a significant impact in the sports industry. The NBA season takes a toll on Valanciunas, affecting his sleep and energy. By partnering with Pulsetto, he aims to optimize his recovery, extend his career, and set a new standard for athlete wellness.
