Northwestern Medical Nurses Rally for Fair Contract

In a show of solidarity, nurses at Northwestern Medical Center officially formed a union in February. Since May, they have been in regular talks with hospital management, aiming to secure a contract by Thanksgiving. On Friday evening, the nurses took their cause to the streets, holding a rally outside the St. Albans hospital.

The rally saw nurses waving signs and balloons, attracting the attention of passersby and drivers. Many showed their support by honking their horns or giving a thumbs-up. Despite the rally, specific details about the union's leadership remain unclear. However, the nurses' collective voice has been growing louder, as they continue to push for a fair agreement with the hospital management.

With negotiations ongoing, the nurses' union at Northwestern Medical Center is working towards a contract that addresses their concerns. The rally served as a public display of their unity and determination. As the talks progress, the nurses hope to reach an agreement before the Thanksgiving holiday.
