Parents: Learn to Talk to Kids About Alcohol & Media in Regensburg Course

A certified course for parents, aiming to equip them with tools to discuss sensitive topics with their children, begins in Regensburg this October. The course, 'Talking to Children about Alcohol, Media, and More', is organized by social educators from the Regensburg Health Office and the Youth and Family Office. It starts on October 14th and runs for six Tuesday evenings, with a fee of 10 euros per person.

The course, priced at 10 euros per person, includes materials and documents. It will be held from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with a break during the fall holidays. Parents will learn to set boundaries, make reliable agreements, handle conflicts, and seek information when needed. The course aims to foster open communication about alcohol consumption, excessive media use, and other relevant topics.

Registration is binding and must be completed by September 30th due to limited spaces. The course will take place at the Regensburg County Administration Office, Altmühlstraße 3. Interested persons can register by contacting the Regensburg Health Department or emailing [email protected].
