Detroit Lions defensive back Morice Norris is currently undergoing observation in hospital following a concussion he sustained during a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. The injury occurred during the fourth quarter of the game, when Norris was struck in the head by a knee from Nathan Carter.

The incident caused Norris's head to snap back after the contact, and he was immediately attended to by medical staff on the field. Players from both teams knelt in solidarity as Norris was taken off in an ambulance, and the game was subsequently suspended and later called off.

Coach Dan Campbell of the Lions has confirmed that Norris is doing well and has expressed positive signs of recovery. However, he has not provided specific details about the nature of the positive news regarding Norris's condition.
