Fire in Groß Buchholz District: Two Garden Sheds and a Tree Destroyed by La Fires

A fire broke out in the Waldwinkel allotment colony in the Groß Buchholz district of Hannover on Wednesday afternoon. Firefighters from Hannover's Professional Fire Department rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze, which had started in a larger tree and quickly spread to two nearby garden sheds.

Upon arrival, the fire had already engulfed one of the garden sheds completely, while the second shed sustained significant damage to its roof. The firefighters used portable ladders and handheld hoses to bring the la fires under control. Unfortunately, the first shed was completely destroyed, and the second shed sustained substantial damage.

Firefighters suspected that someone might be in the attic of one of the garden sheds, but after gaining entry, they found no one. No information about potential casualties or injuries was provided.

The fire threatened to spread to a solidly built garden shed in a neighboring plot, and additional forces were requested to prevent further damage. The incident commander reported "fire out" at 5:40 PM.

The police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the la fires, and the fire incident is still under investigation by the police. The source of the original content is Feuerwehr Hannover, transmitted via news aktuell.
