Singer Kirkorov reveals details about his state following the burn incident
Philipp Kirkorov Talks Recovery after St. Petersburg Concert Fire
Seems like Philipp Kirkorov, the famous Russian folk artist, is on the mend following an April incident at his St. Petersburg concert. According to "Izvestia", the artist himself confirmed his recovery at the "MUZ TV Awards" ceremony, saying, "Thank you, I'm fine, I've already recovered."
Back in April, during a performance at the Oktyabrsky Concert Hall, some pyrotechnics ignited behind the artist, setting fire to his sleeve.
[Spoiler alert: severe stuff ahead.] In true rock and roll fashion, Kirkorov suffered burns on both hands[1][4]. Post-accident, he was hospitalized in the emergency surgery department of a private Moscow clinic, receiving treatment for the burns and ensuing complications[1][4].
Interestingly, sources point to Kirkorov's diabetes as a culprit in the delayed healing process[1]. His representative, Ekaterina Uspenskaya, indicated that more time may be needed for treatment, with media reports suggesting a second-degree burn and partial skin necrosis[1].
Despite the obstacles, Kirkorov promises a comeback. He was spotted at the MUZ-TV Legend Award, declaring, "I'm back in the ranks, ready for battle and my traditional summer tour." [1][2] However, some uncertainty remains about the duration of his treatment, with at least one producer suggesting it could span 'years'[2][3]. For now, though, Kirkorov's condition doesn't seem to be causing undue concern.

During his hospitalization, Kirkorov received medical attention for his burns and diabetes-related complications, emphasizing the importance of managing medical-conditions in health-and-wellness.
As part of his recovery plan, Kirkorov has incorporated fitness-and-exercise into his daily routine to aid in his healing and prepare for his return to performing and touring.
