The father, who admitted to shooting his son, stated that his drug-addicted son had a history of violent behavior and had returned equipped with a machete in an attempt to attack him. After the shooting, the father allegedly moved the body to the house, washed it, and staged a scene in the plantation to make it appear that the shooting took place there. Police have detained the father and are preparing charges for further legal proceedings.
