Susanne Kae Vick Arrested in Manchester
Suzanne Kae Vick, a beloved resident of Manchester, Iowa, and formerly of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, surrounded by her family. She was 79 years old.
Born on December 19, 1945, in Boone, Iowa, Suzanne began her life's journey. She graduated from Boone High School class of 1964 and attended Nursing School in Marshalltown. Her dedication to her profession led her to earn her Licensed Practical Nurses degree and later her Bachelor of Science degree as a Registered Nurse at St. Ambrose University.
Suzanne's nursing career spanned many years, with a significant portion of it spent at Muscatine General Hospital, where she served as an Intensive Care Nurse, Charge Nurse, and Quality Care Nurse. She retired in 2002.
On August 19, 1966, Suzanne married Wayne Vick. Together, they raised four sons: David, Timothy, Kirk, and Michael. Sadly, Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Maybel Harvey, her stepmother Mabel Harvey, her brother Richard Harvey, and her husband Wayne Vick.
Suzanne is survived by her 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church, 3003 Mulberry Ave, Muscatine, Iowa, 52761.
The funeral service for Suzanne Kae Vick will take place at 10:30 a.m. on July 2, 2025, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester, Iowa. There will be an additional visitation one hour prior to the service. The visitation will also be held at the same location on July 1, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Pastor Don Swanson will officiate the funeral service.
Following the funeral service, the burial for Suzanne Kae Vick will take place at 3:00 p.m. at Buckeye Cemetery, Buckeye, Iowa.
