**Teddi Mellencamp's Cancer Battle: A Journey of Resilience**

Teddi Mellencamp, a former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is currently battling stage 4 brain cancer. After being diagnosed with melanoma in 2022, Mellencamp has been undergoing immunotherapy treatments for her brain cancer. However, the treatments have taken a toll on her health, and she has decided to temporarily pause them to improve her wellbeing.

In February 2023, Mellencamp underwent surgery to remove multiple brain tumors. Since then, she has been on steroids as part of her treatment regimen. Despite the challenges, Mellencamp remains resilient, emphasising the importance of taking advantage of good days while listening to her body on bad ones.

The immunotherapy treatments have caused Mellencamp to experience energy fluctuations, with some days feeling strong enough to attend her daughter's horse shows, and other days feeling unwell. The treatments have also affected her memory recall, making it difficult for her to recap Real Housewives episodes on her podcast.

Mellencamp revealed on the Wednesday, July 23 podcast that she will be pausing her immunotherapy treatments temporarily to allow her body to regain strength. The cancer diagnosis has undoubtedly impacted her family, including her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave and their children. In fact, Arroyave has had to step in to help Mellencamp due to her health condition.

The cancer diagnosis has also changed the lives of Mellencamp's children. Despite the ongoing divorce proceedings, Mellencamp's medical condition has put the divorce on hold. Mellencamp's relationship with Arroyave has been affected by her cancer diagnosis, but the focus remains on her health and recovery.

Mellencamp has been open about the challenges of living with stage 4 cancer, noting that the immunotherapy treatments are making her feel sicker as she continues her cancer battle. These new tumors found in March are a direct result of Mellencamp's melanoma.

Despite the difficulties, Mellencamp continues to maintain a positive outlook, focusing on her family and her health. She remains committed to spending quality time with her family, such as attending her daughter's events when possible. Mellencamp's courage and resilience serve as an inspiration to many as she continues her fight against cancer.

Mellencamp's cancer battle has made her realize the significance of maintaining a balance in her health-and-wellness, including both physical and mental health. Similarly, the ongoing treatments have highlighted the intricate relationship between science and medical-conditions, as immunotherapy is used to combat her brain cancer.
