Tesla Opens First Dedicated Showroom in Abu Dhabi

Tesla, the leading electric vehicle manufacturer, is set to expand its presence in the Middle East with the opening of its first purpose-built showroom in Abu Dhabi. The new site will be located on Yas Island and will be a strategic partnership with real estate developer Aldar.

The new Tesla Experience Centre will span more than 5,000 sq. meters of leasable space, offering a comprehensive experience for both current and future customers. The facility will combine a showroom, service centre, and delivery hall under one roof.

The site is expected to be completed by 2027 and will be equipped with 170 dedicated parking spots and 20 V4 Tesla Supercharger stalls. The new Tesla site will incorporate net-zero-aligned design principles such as rooftop solar, rainwater recycling, low-emission building materials, and high-efficiency HVAC systems.

Pawel Trzpis, General Manager at Tesla Middle East, has expressed excitement about expanding operations in Abu Dhabi. "We are thrilled to be partnering with Aldar to bring our unique brand of sustainable innovation to Abu Dhabi," he said.

Jassem Saleh Busaibe, CEO at Aldar Investment, has also commented on the development. "We are proud to be part of Tesla's growth strategy in the Middle East and to contribute to the UAE's vision for a sustainable future," he said.

The new Tesla site in Abu Dhabi solidifies Tesla's focus and commitment to expanding in the region. This move is part of Tesla's broader growth strategy in the Middle East, following the recent opening of its first pair of Tesla Experience Centers in India earlier this summer.

The project is expected to strengthen Tesla's presence in the UAE and is another step in the evolution of Aldar's industrial and logistics offerings. The new Tesla Experience Centre in Abu Dhabi is targeting Estidama 3 Pearl certification, demonstrating Tesla's commitment to sustainability and the environment.

Construction of the new Tesla site in Abu Dhabi is expected to begin soon, with the public opening scheduled for a future date. The new site will welcome both current and future customers upon its opening, further cementing Tesla's position as a leader in the electric vehicle industry.
