THD Cancels COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Due to Severe Weather, Ensures No Doses Wasted

The Technical University of Applied Sciences Deggendorf (THD) has announced changes to its COVID-19 vaccine clinic operations due to severe weather conditions. The news clinics scheduled for February 12th and 15th have been canceled, and THD is taking steps to ensure no vaccine doses are wasted.

THD will reschedule all canceled appointments. Those affected will be notified and their appointments will be moved to different dates and locations, based on their original appointment time. Residents should attend at the same time as their original appointment on the new date.

THD will not add new Tulsa County appointments to the Oklahoma Vaccine Portal this week. However, residents unable to attend their rescheduled appointment can find a new one using the portal. THD staff will not reschedule these news appointments.

THD is committed to ensuring the safety of residents and staff during travel to and from vaccine clinics. It also aims to prevent vaccine wastage. Any unused doses due to cancellations will be given to community partners.

THD continues to monitor weather conditions and will notify residents of further cancellations. Residents are advised to attend their rescheduled appointments at the same time as their original appointment. Those unable to attend should use the Oklahoma Vaccine Portal to find a new one. THD assures residents that no vaccine doses will be wasted due to these cancellations.
