Unveiling the Evolution of Our Digital Hub

In a significant move, the Cosmos online news service, known for its latest science discoveries and interviews with scientists, will be transitioning to a new digital destination for science content later this year. This transformation was announced by the news team, who will continue their work in publishing peer-reviewed journals, e-books, and fact-based science news on the new platform.

The decision to stop the production of the Cosmos platform was not made lightly and mirrors a wider shift of audiences away from print magazines and the rising costs of producing print magazines. The final print edition of the Cosmos platform will be published in June 2025, marking the end of an era.

Digital subscriptions for the Cosmos platform will also end in June 2025. However, all subscribers will be refunded their remaining subscription term. If your subscription was purchased directly from the publishing partner and paid by credit card, the card owner's account will be credited for the balance of your subscription. For schools or libraries that purchased via EFT or paid on invoice through their school account, a refund will be organized. For those who purchased their subscription via an agent, a refund will be organized following their standard processes.

For those who subscribed through the Royal Institution of Australia prior to June 2024, contact [email protected] or call 1300 788000 to organise a refund. For general enquiries, the same contact details apply, or you can call 1300 788000. For media enquiries, contact [email protected].

It is important to note that there are no relevant search results indicating a new digital destination for science content that is explicitly replacing Cosmos magazine, nor details on when it will start publishing peer-reviewed journals, e-books, and news. Magzter, a large digital newsstand offering multiple magazines including Cosmos, is a platform rather than a replacement for Cosmos magazine itself.

The new website aims to bring together audiences for a sustainable future, offering a fresh and engaging platform for science enthusiasts. The original publication of this information was by Cosmos under the title "A new future for our platform". Stay tuned for more updates as we transition to this exciting new phase.

The new website, aiming to bring together science enthusiasts for a sustainable future, is set to publish peer-reviewed journals, e-books, and fact-based science news, following the transition of the Cosmos online news service. Despite speculations, it's not yet clear whether this new platform will replace Cosmos magazine, as there are no explicit details available regarding its start date or search results to confirm this.
