World's Second-Oldest Man Dies at 113, Leaving Behind Massive Family Legacy
Efrain Antonio Rios Garcia, the world's second-oldest man, has passed away at the age of 113 years and 282 days. He was born on 4 April 1910 in Fredonia, Antioquia, Colombia, and will be laid to rest in the city of Itagüi, surrounded by his beloved family.
Rios Garcia was known for his love of horseback riding in his youth and lived a life full of health and love. He married Herminia Uribe and had 18 children together, with over 80 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Following his passing, the world's second-oldest man is now 112-year-old Gisaburo Sonobe of Japan. Rios Garcia was one of nine siblings and enjoyed a long and fulfilling life.
Rios Garcia's funeral arrangements are yet to be made public. His family and friends are encouraged to contact local authorities or media outlets for updates on the burial location and timings.
